During this adventure trekking tour you will discover a wide panorama of landscapes that you won’t find anywhere else: the highest peak in North Africa, the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, the waterfalls of Ouzoud, the lake of Bin el Ouidane, and the spring of Ain Asserdoun.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Casablanca

You will be met and greeted by our representative at the Mohamed V International airport (code: CMN) in Casablanca depending on your flight schedule then transferred to your hotel. Then, night at the hotel in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca- Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, at 9h-9h30, we will start a half day tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco: Habbous, the old medina, Ain Diab boardwalk, a visit of Hassan II mosque, and a tour of the city. Lunch break, then we will drive to Marrakech. After arrival, we will check in at the hotel, then night at the hotel. Optional: Then we pick you up at 20H00 to go to Chez Ali for a unique dinner and a show with Fantasia, belly dancing and more. Then night at the hotel

Day 3: Marrakech

Departure at 9h00-9h30 after breakfast at the hotel to tour of the capital of the south, which gave its name to the country: the Koutoubia or " bookseller mosque" built in the 12th century; the Saadian tombs, splendid 16th century mausoleums with the twelve columns hall, a masterpiece of Moorish art; the Bahia Palace, a veritable maze of corridors and staircases built in the last century with beautiful garden; the world famous Majorelle Gardens and Yves Saint Laurent’s house. Lunch, then we will continue the visit with a tour of the ramparts, built in the 12th century. Then, the famous Djemaa El Fna (a UNESCO world heritage) and the heart of the medina. All day there reigns a huge market. There one encounters many amazing characters: storytellers, acrobats, snake charmers ... From there you can access the souks to the infinitely varied crafts. Then we will drop you off at the hotel. Then night at the hotel.

Day 4: Marrakech – Asni Valley – Ait Misane - Imlil – Toubkal Shelter

After Breakfast at the hotel, we will depart to Toubkal, the highest point of North Africa.
You will enjoy the beautiful scenery from the Asni Valley to Ait Misane village, offering a panorama of nature and authentic Berber villages. Then you will arrive to Imlil, the starting point for your trekking in the High Atlas. After leaving our transportation and meeting with our guides and muleteers, you will start your journey walking or riding mules to village Armed (1905 m altitude). Then, 2 hours more to reach the famous Marabout of Sidi Chemharouch (2250 m of altitude). We will take a tea break in the Marabout before continuing our journey to the shelter of Toubkal. Then after arrival we will check in at the Toubkal shelter, then dinner and overnight in the shelter.

Day 5: Toubkal Shelter- Toubkal Summit

Very early in the morning, you will begin to climb the summit of Toubkal the highest in North Africa (4167 m), a grandiose panorama on the southern part where is the massif of Siroua, the only massif in Morocco with the saffron culture. Discover a beautiful view of the High Atlas Mountains, valleys of the South and North. Then we will start our descent to the shelter. After a short break, we will continue back to Imlil passing by the Marabout. After arrival in Imlil, we will check in at the hotel, then dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Note: Some mountain climbing equipments like cleats can be rented in Imlil. Otherwise, make sure you have the necessary jacket, pants, shoes etc.. for mountain climbing.

Day 6 : Imlil- Ouzoud

After breakfast in Imlil, we will depart to Ouzoud (4 hours) crossing several small towns and villages with a real sense of rural life. You will start thinking that you have traveled in the past while some rural villagers conquered their daily lives.
After your arrival at the village of Ouzoud, you will start your hike down to the sources while admiring the splendid view of the waterfalls of Ouzoud, 110 m high, against a backdrop of a permanent rainbow. En route, local Barbary macaques who expect nuts will greet you all along the way!
Local cafes are available next to the stream for a light lunch and relaxation before heading to our starting point. Then we will head to the hotel. After check-in, dinner and night at the hotel.

Note: For your trip to the falls You should bring sunscreen, a camera and some change of clothes if you want to take a dip in some of the pools at the bottom of the falls.

Day 7: - Bin el Ouidane- Beni Mellal – Ain Asserdoun- Casablanca

After breakfast, we will depart at 9H00 to lake Bin El Ouidane (1-1.5 hours). After arrival, we will start our excursion to the lake then you will have time to enjoy its beauty and nature. You can either have a coffee break in the near cafes with a panoramic view of the lake or discover the beautiful lake on a raft. Then we will continue to Beni Mellal (built in the 16th century) where you will get to explore the city, the Kasbah of Ras El Ain bult by Sultan Moulay Ismail and the spring of Ain Asserdoun (the eye of the mule in Berber).
After lunch in Beni Mellal, we continue to Casablanca. Then, after arrival, check in at the hotel. Then night at the hotel.

Day 8: Departure from Casablanca

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, we will drop you off at Mohamed V International airport (CMN).
End of service.

Yes, Airport transfers are included in the price of this tour. Airport transfers are performed for the whole group and not individually. Our representative will be at the airport to greet you. What is the age range?

This tour has an age range of 18-50 years old and requires the physical condition to do moderate mountain hiking and trekking. This means children under the age of 18 will not be eligible to participate in this tour without the presence of an adult responsible for their safety. However, if you are over 50 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour.
