North of Morocco tour offers an amazing journey of discovery through the major cities of the north of Morocco. You will explore the history and the sights of Casablanca, the imperial cities of Rabat, Fes and Meknes, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. then you will continue the journey up north to Tangier and the blue city of Chefchaouen.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Casablanca

You will be met and greeted by our representative at the Mohamed V International airport (code: CMN) in Casablanca depending on your flight schedule then transferred to your hotel. Then, night at the hotel in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca- Rabat

After breakfast at the hotel, at 9h-9h30, we will start a half day tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco: Habbous, the old medina, Ain Diab boardwalk, a visit of Hassan II mosque, and a tour of the city. Lunch break, then we will drive to Rabat. After arrival, check in and night at the hotel.

Day 3: Rabat- Fes

After breakfast at the hotel, we will do a full day guided city tour of Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco: Mohammed V mausoleum, Hassan tour, King’s palace’s “Mechouar”, the surroundings and the walls of the royal’s palace, and Chellah. Then we will have a lunch break. Then the Kasbah of Oudayas, and the souk of the Medina. Then we will drive to Fes. After arrival, check-in and night at the hotel.

Day 4: Fes and Meknes

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at 9H00 for a full day tour of Fes: Médina Fès El Bali : El Attarine, Nejjarine, Seffarine, El Karaouiyine Mosque, Zaouia of Moulay Idriss, Méderassa Bou Inania, Dar Batha, Bab Boujloud. Then we will have a lunch break during the visit at a restaurant at the heart of the Medina. Then continue the tour in Meknes and Volubilis (if time allows): Koubat Al Khayatine, Bab Lakhmis, Bab Mansour, Ksar Mansour, Grenier et écuries. Fes is the third biggest city, a spiritual and cultural center of traditional Morocco after Casablanca and Rabat with a population of 1 368 000 habitants. It is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco besides Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat. The medina (the old city of Fes) is a model example of the oriental city and is under the protection of the UNESCO. It has been unchanged since the XII century. The deep blue color of the ceramics is one of the characteristic symbols of Fes. It has the biggest medina of the world and is internationally renowned besides the famous capitals of the Arab Muslim civilization like Damascus, Bagdad and Cordoba. After the tour, night at the hotel.

Day 5: Fes- Chefchaouen

After check out from the hotel and breakfast, we will leave at 9H00 to drive to Chefchaouen or the blue city famous for its blue houses and narrow streets. After check-in at the hotel, free time to have lunch and walk the medina and check out the beautiful streets and the souvenir shops. Then night at the hotel.

Day 6: Chefchaouen- Tangier

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at 9H00 to Tangier. After arrival, we will check-in at the hotel, and then start a tour of the city: an interesting drive through the richest area of Tangier’s zone of villas and palaces passing via the king's palace and celebrities’ homes (Barbara Hutton and Malcolm Forbs). Visit Cape Spartel which is the northest western point of Africa, it is the exact point where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Then visit the Caves of Hercules (dating from the Neolithic era). Then we will do a stop to take pictures of the camels and if you like to experience a camel ride. After a short drive return to Tangier for the cultural tour which will be in the Kasbah and the Medina, the oldest and the most exotic part of this mythical city. An opportunity to be in direct contact with the friendly locals! Begin your tour of the old city to visit the Kasbah taking the itinerary of Matisse, the French famous painter who stayed here between 1912 and 1913 , snake charmers, the Medina where you will enjoy the world famous Moroccan cuisine while you relax to the entertainment of Andalusian musicians and belly dancer , Gran Socco, Petit Socco, Old American Legation, founded in 1821 (the 1st National Landscape for the USA in the overseas),the Mendoubia building and Gardens (The international administration when Tangier was under-control of 8 powerful countries) and then the market for souvenir shopping. Then night at the hotel.

Day 7: Tangier- Casablanca

After check out from the hotel and breakfast we will drive to Casablanca. After arrival, check in at the hotel. Then, you will have free time to have lunch and visit the city center of Casablanca. Then night at the hotel.

Day 8: Departure from Casablanca

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, we will drop you off at Mohamed V International airport (CMN).
